Death & Life

First of all, my condolences to all victims of the 8.9 quake and 4 meter high tsunami that hits Japan yesterday. Videos and images of the impact is terrifying. Let's all take a minute and pray for the safety for those in Japan. ....

pray

Alright~ i've never been in a situation whereby death is just upon my eyes, (touch wood~ trust me, i wouldn't want that to ever happen.. >.<;;) BUT.. just imagining, if i were put at that situation.. what will i do.. will i be afraid of death? At that short miliseconds, if you're going to be engulfed by 4 meter high of water.. hmm~~~ i really wonder what will i do? As you know that there's no escape.

Probably i'll be thinking will I survive? =="

ANd if 2012 is really the end of the world.. hmm.. I guess i won't be doing anything really extraordinary. Most likely will spend more time with the people i love.. Family.. friends.. do what i do best at work. Yeap, live my life to the fullest~ Well, I've always have this thinking that everything happens for a reason, and at anytime, anything may happen.. Including accidents due to human error, diseases or natural disasters.. One way or the other, can easily end ones life.

One of the plant managers told me this.. "At my age, i must be glad that i can wake up in the morning and still able to go to work." I think, everyone should have this feeling about life. Must be glad that you're able to breath in the air, see the sun shines, everyday.. It's a sign of blessings for one to be able to wake up in the morning, and do simple little task like brushing your teeth, combing your hair, take a walk down to market place.. etc.

So.. what do you think about death & life? Share the voices in your head~! =)

Poll's Up!

So.. I'm just curious about this question.. Directed to all guys, do you mind that if your partner (wife or gf) is having a better achievements than you do??
haha.. it's just random question. Because people always say that a lady's heart is very hard to catch, well i'll say that a guy's mind is very hard to guess. LOL~ don't you agree?

So guys, what if your partner is doing better than you are, will you feel pressured? will you feel uncomfortable? or are you ok with it and be happy for her? hmmm.. I know that this "guy-ego" thingy usually kicks in and causes arguments in a relationship. Which is also in many occations, become the reason for a guy to call for breakup. For age between 20-30, ladies with aspiration will tend to push themselves harder than ever, before they finally decided to start a family. That's because in natural, all ladies are family-oriented. And yes, ladies too are ambitious, but the top priority of all things will always be family. Many ladies find it very tough to achieve their dreams.

So ladies with dreams, will try their best to progress as many milestone as possible, before settling down with a guy who she'll be able to spend her life with. It's sort of like a self-accomplishment.. Adventurous.. Satisfying.. And able to give pleasure to one that she'll be able to "measure" her capability. Well, i'm a girl like that. I'll keep moving forward, won't stop and wait, because time is ticking every second. Lost time can never be recovered. This.. is a fact.

And guys, stop being an idiot by stopping / slowing a lady in reaching her goals. Both sexes, have equal rights in fighting for their dreams in life! Be optimistic even if your other half is doing better than you, take this as an encouragement to chase up or move even further than she does. If she's what mattered to you the most, never give up, try harder. And ladies, if a guy that you like, tried to stop you, you're definitely better off without him. As he doesn't see what opportunities lies within this relationship, how both can encourage each other to strive to success together~ ^^

March 2011

Okay~ I know it's a lame title. haha~ Well, just want to show that it's already MARCH?! days passes by like flipping through a book.. Everyday is a new and.. urm.. I can't say is exciting at the moment.. but somewhat "interesting"~ If you're involved with work in operation & production line, you almost get new troubles everyday! sometimes it's frustrating (especially during weekends), really~ but when you get to solved an issue, it's seriously satisfying.

I find that dealing with people is indeed the highest challenge of all in my job. Problems could be solved if people are willing to work together. Or else, it'll take forever to complete just a simple little task. I'm still learning on ways to build up a strong team, instill team spirit among labmates, and make them understand the importance of meeting timeline.

Well, i think it's due to the environment itself, as the lifestyle over at Lahad Datu, Sabah is kinda laid back. Everything moves slowly.. people drives slowly on streets, passerby crosses the road (or should i say highway?!) slowly.. the locals just know how to take their time~ If you stayed there for quite sometime, you'll tend to like that place, as it gives you an image of small town, surrounded by greeneries, people in town knows each other by names, every essential shops & offices are just round the corner, not much jams.. it's a big difference from KL. The down part is just that it lacks of malls, no cinema, no McD. hahaha.. (Yes, no McD, not in Lahad Datu nor Tawau.. learned it from UK colleague:"the best way to describe LD to my mates is you can't find McD over here!")

And so far, i'm going to where at my masters research, since Monash admin is working in a very slow pace.. it's been a month and my insurance is still not cleared. So.. i'm restricted to step in the lab! O.o" wished they could speed up the process.. A MONTH WASTED!!! imagine how far i could get with all those lost time.. *sigh*

ANyway~ I've collected the ganoderma samples! Yoohoo~~ *\(^^,/*

haih~~ how much longer i have to wait for my insurance to be cleared??? =.="

Common symptoms of infected trees~~ 1. leaves not opening, 2. no fruits produced

Fruiting bodies of ganoderma

Another infected tree.. this is the final stage of infection.. scary huh~~
