Life Partner

And when I thought I'm ready to open my heart, I found that I'm holding back myself. Pondering.. hmm.. Well, I asked myself "Why???" Is it because of the past? I don't think so. So perhaps is the future that i'm worried about. I'm becoming more and more picky over the period. You know.. worried that i'm the reason, my "picky-ness", that the relationship doesn't work out.

So, maybe i should tell him straight on, that what would i be expecting from someone that i take serious consideration of more-than-just-friends or lifelong partner. Telling him what qualities that i'm looking for. But deep down, i understand that humans are not perfect. I AM NOT PERFECT. haha.. but there are certain things that i really hope the other half has.. 

For instance, people skills. This is something really general. But i find it rather important. If a person can't generate a healthy conversation without awkward stoppages, this will eventually be a hinder to a relationship. Not only among lovers, but also among friends, or getting to know a new group of people, especially close friends of hers (that's the biggest error that most guys missed.. get into the good book of her close friends, and you're at least 50% in the safe zone).

Secondly, leadership. Every lady, no matter weak or strong, would always love to be leaded in a relationship. It showed that you've got things in control, and it gives a sense of security. Yes, sense of security is very important. If a guy who swayed like a lalang (a type of weed in malay), just blindly following the wind.. then that'll not be a good sign.

Thirdly, career stability. This strongly relates to security. Having a stable career, means stable income. And also  showing interest in climbing the career ladder or showing eagerness in self improvement (i.e. further studies/ get a professional cert), always means that you're constantly improving yourself, lifelong learning, with strong will power to endure and pass through obstacles. 

Fourthly, be an outdoor person. Mainly because i enjoy outdoor activities as much. Of course, would love to spend time doing it with the person i love, right? ;)

I guess those are the major qualities that i'm attracted to. What about you other ladies out there? What kind of characteristics that you're looking at for a guy to be the special one in your life? =)

So.. I'm just curious about this question.. Directed to all guys, do you mind that if your partner (wife or gf) is having a better achievements than you do??
haha.. it's just random question. Because people always say that a lady's heart is very hard to catch, well i'll say that a guy's mind is very hard to guess. LOL~ don't you agree?

So guys, what if your partner is doing better than you are, will you feel pressured? will you feel uncomfortable? or are you ok with it and be happy for her? hmmm.. I know that this "guy-ego" thingy usually kicks in and causes arguments in a relationship. Which is also in many occations, become the reason for a guy to call for breakup. For age between 20-30, ladies with aspiration will tend to push themselves harder than ever, before they finally decided to start a family. That's because in natural, all ladies are family-oriented. And yes, ladies too are ambitious, but the top priority of all things will always be family. Many ladies find it very tough to achieve their dreams.

So ladies with dreams, will try their best to progress as many milestone as possible, before settling down with a guy who she'll be able to spend her life with. It's sort of like a self-accomplishment.. Adventurous.. Satisfying.. And able to give pleasure to one that she'll be able to "measure" her capability. Well, i'm a girl like that. I'll keep moving forward, won't stop and wait, because time is ticking every second. Lost time can never be recovered. This.. is a fact.

And guys, stop being an idiot by stopping / slowing a lady in reaching her goals. Both sexes, have equal rights in fighting for their dreams in life! Be optimistic even if your other half is doing better than you, take this as an encouragement to chase up or move even further than she does. If she's what mattered to you the most, never give up, try harder. And ladies, if a guy that you like, tried to stop you, you're definitely better off without him. As he doesn't see what opportunities lies within this relationship, how both can encourage each other to strive to success together~ ^^
