Trust, faith, teamwork!

When you have a strong working team, you'll be able to feel the positive force from your team mates in achieving goals. Lately due to a major site issue, which caused by my assistant, and lack of cooperation from other teams under the same project, not to forget the hard-to-manage client, everything agreed and set during the previous meeting went wrong. To add oil to the fire, the leader of the other team, instead of solving the problem, as usual, he'll find a scapegoat (usually someone who often opposes him) and put under full responsibility for causing the issue. Eventually the person will get fired. Well, this time his target is me.

For me, it's not exactly a big deal. I've no fear even if I eventually got fired as I'm still young, when at this point of time, I've nothing to lose and everything to gain. I'll not regret as I know that I'm always giving my best, 1) to gain knowledge and experiences in this field- I'm more than willing to sacrifice sleeping and fun time and even when the pay is not exactly really high (depending on how valuable the experience can be); 2) I work, not only for self advancement, but also at the same time, to grow together with the company- As I believe work can be extra fun if you put your heart into it. Furthermore, this applies especially for startups, when your company is able to advance and having its revenue stream diversified and multiplied, you'll know that's when you get your bonus. ^^ (I don't think this applies if you're working for multinational or big firms though)

And so, when teams of the same project started to trust and have faith in you, it's a sign of a good start for a young consultant like me. The idiot leader would like to see me got fired. Lucky me that my boss is a reasonable man, who doesn't blindly believes in what others have to say.

To top up to my confidence level and encouragement in facing difficult situation like this, nothing felt better when the team members of other team come telling you "if you're fired, I'll quit! " .. I'm totally at lost of words when I heard it. And feeling warm in my heart of having such strong trust of others towards me. Although it is high chance that he won't see this, but still.. thanks for backing me up.

Work can make you go crazy at times with high level of commitment, but hey~ at the end of the day,  when you get the problem solved and having your reputation built up.. it's all worth it!  :)
